General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These terms apply to all placement, recording and translation services of World Wide Voices (owner: Rainer Maria Ehrhardt, Bad Homburg). Deviating terms of the client only apply if they have been confirmed in writing.
2. Placement
For the placement of the voice-over artists and/or translators we charge 15 % of the artist's fee — based on the recommendations of the Verband Deutscher Sprecher e. V. (VDS), the German association of voice-over artists. The contract for the actual voice service is concluded between the client and the artist; we arrange and handle the process.
3. Studio costs
Studio costs amount to 65 € per half hour started, including recording supervision, technician and, where applicable, online costs; a minimum of 100 € per order. As a rule of thumb, three times the duration of the spoken text applies.
4. Artists' social security contribution
For all voice recordings, the statutory artists' social security contribution (Künstlersozialabgabe), currently amounting to 4.9 % of the fee, must be paid.
5. Usage rights
The amount of the fee depends on the length of the text, the layout and the usage rights. The usage rights are agreed specifically in the quote and only pass to the client after full payment.
6. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction. All prices within Germany are subject to statutory VAT.
