David Morales

About this voice

I am David Morales Martín, a professional voice over talent and dubbing actor in European Spanish (Castilian) and Catalan. I was born in Barcelona in 1979 and started out in radio at sixteen. I recorded my first commercial in 2003 and I have worked from my own studio since 2008. I studied journalism at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and trained as a dubbing actor, advertising voice artist and audiobook narrator at the Escola Catalana de Doblatge (ECAD). Every year I voice hundreds of projects: television, radio and Internet advertising, corporate videos, e-learning, audio guides, IVR and telephone prompts, in store announcements, documentaries, audiobooks, video games and podcasts. I have recorded campaigns for Ariel, Audi, Renfe, Norauto, Verti and Lavazza, and voiced content for Netflix, Spotify and RedBull TV. For ten years I was the voice of CaixaBank's phone system. In 2024 I received three One Voice Awards nominations in Spanish: Best Voice of God voice over for live events, Best Performance in e-learning and Best Performance in guide voice. As a native bilingual speaker, I record both language versions of a project with the same voice, the same tone and the same intention. I usually work remotely and you can direct the session live through Source-Connect, video call or phone, from wherever you are. I also record in person at studios in Barcelona and other cities when a project calls for it.
