PAUL HETHERINGTON- VO I was born in the UK and moved to Germany 30 years ago. Originally, I worked solely as a musician, later becoming involved in the world of voice over through my contacts in studios. I have voiced in numerous studios in and around my home town of Berlin e.g. Fa. Studiofunk, Krane & Rabe GmbH, Oxygen Studios und KKLD GmbH In 2017 I bought my own booth and began recording projects from home. My work as a VO had always been parallel to my being a professional musician. Since March 2020 I have devoted my attention solely to VO work. Apart from learning on the job since 2009, I am a regular member over at Gravy for the Brain and am active in their courses and mentoring programs. I have also been coaching with Tanya Rich (one of the UK’s heading VOs and coaches) since early 2021. I have voiced for commercial and corporate clients, as well as narration and E-Learning projects. Voice over appeals to me because it combines the creative process with in an immediate and spontaneous environment plus the additional challenge of working within a bespoke framework. As a native English speaker plus a fluent speaker of German, I can help with anything from minor corrections and tidying of texts, up to complete translations from German to English - or English to German. I have a professional home studio, so I can provide everything from raw audio in all regular formats, WAV, AIFF, MP3 etc. up to files edited, de- breathed, compressed and normalised according to the clients wishes. As the set-up is in my home, providing revisions is no problem and my turn around is fast (within 24 hours, or even same day - depending on the size of the project).
